Born in the beautiful Greek island of Cyprus and immigrating to the US in the late 70"s to study fashion, where she quickly found herself enrolled, committed and exposed to the hallways of the renowned FIT - Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. This Astoria own artist created her own company and named it Lithos du Monde - a Greek and French blend of words meaning " Stones of the World". She has become a jewelry designer where her inspiration for her hand-made pieces comes from the colors and shades of art pieces. Her jewelry can be described as funky but elegant at the same time because of the uniqueness of her collections. She makes these wonderful one-of-a-kind cocktail pieces in 14Kt. gold-filled wire rings with semi-precious stones and her exclusive line has Swarovski crystals on each ring as her trademark. These eye-catching bauble stones have drawn rave reviews at dinners and parties and usually become conversation pieces. Part of her collections are these extraordinary necklaces made from gold-filled chains, sterling silver, steel, silk, and even suede and leather chains combined with semi-precious stones such as turquoise, jade, agate, fossil, onyx, tiger eye, and amethyst just to name a few. She presently display her collections at local high end Astoria, Long lsland City and Forrest Hills boutiques, The Hellenic Museum in NYC and in various fashionable Shops throughout Cyprus.
